The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines hubris (ˈhyü-brəs) as "exaggerated pride or self-confidence." After 11 seasons of "fixing" films written by professional screenwriters, we have finally amassed enough exaggerated self-confidence to scribble red ink all over one of the greatest writer/directors of all time: Alfred Hitchcock.
